Evans will screen the Hitchcock film North by Northwest which she saw for the first time as a teenager. The film begins with a murder in the United Nations Headquarters in New York, and ends in a chase across the presidents’ faces on Mount Rushmore.
In the main room she will install her own desk and chair, and the film will be projected onto the surface the desk, making her work into a frivolous story. Above head height a cloud of mobiles will cast shadows onto the walls and ceiling. There will also be a self-portrait painting and a super 8 film of her family exploring the Communist statue park in Budapest.
