的 环境研究 major at MCLA is a cross-disciplinary program that aims to give students a solid foundation in a variety of areas within the field. 的BERC assists 环境研究 majors who are seeking out and subsequently completing their required internship experience, or MCLA students from other majors who simply wish to gain experience in 环境研究 or sciences through an internship 或者志愿者活动. Establishing and maintaining active relationships with the BERC和MCLA 社区合作伙伴 allows for placement of interns into a variety of positions and projects that ideally focus on the student's specific area of interest. Often students remain with the organization that provided their site experience for the internship beyond the specific project or after graduation.
